100 VNSF bench

"An Interior Adapter"

The project was commissioned for the Lobby of a former office building in San Francisco. As a central object within the lobby, the client asked for a unique solution that elevates the environment and works as an eye catcher. The bench is based on a parametric model, similar to the Urban Adapter project and is in the end only one of many possible versions. To match the dominant walnut environment the bench was made out of stained milled MDF sheets. The bench is around 3.50m long and oscillates between two major seating conditions.
